Huawei has announced the successor to its phablet Ascend Mate, version 2 also called Ascend Mate2. The successor has LTE connectivity, but what is unique with this smartphone is that it promise to charge another gadget with its 4050 mAh battery.
Ascend Mate 2 is a phablet with 6.1-inch display with 720×1280 pixels display, it has 13MP rear camera and the front has 5MP, thinner at 9.5 mm.
It has a 2G RAM, 16G internal storage, and a quad-core processor 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 and includes all the other basic features of an Android smartphone.
The claim that it can charge other smartphone is intriguing though, I wonder how long it can sustain on its own.
Huawei has a local office in the Philippines, so we will hear the official pricing from them including availability later on.
