We finally saw the Intel tablet by Lenovo today; the 8-incher Miix 2 will have 3G connectivity with micro-SIM feature, a quad-core Intel Atom Z3740 Processor (1.33GHz), 2G of RAM and 64G of internal storage. If you need more storage, you can add via microSD.
We were able to confirm the availability of the Lenovo Miix 2 and the SRP in today’s press event and you might be surprised, it is on the high side! Lenovo Miix 2 comes with Windows 8.1 and Microsoft Office; an optional detachable cover with stylus pen.
Lenovo also confirmed that they are also bringing in the 11-inch Miix 2 by April, but the 8-inch Miix 2 will be made available next week in all major stores nationwide.
The 11-inch Miix 2 will have a higher specs – a 4th generation Intel Core i5 processor, 256G of storage and FHD screen with 1920 x 1200 resolution. HDMI and USB 2.0 ports, microSD and micro USB ports are all present in this big brother version.
Lenovo promised an all-day battery life on the 8-inch Miix 2 with the 7,000 mAh battery which is built-in to the tablet.

Lenovo Miix 2 8-inch is priced at P21,999. Lenovo Miix 2 11-inch has an SRP of P47,990.
