So the LG G4, the most ambitious smartphone to-date from LG, has been launched in the Philippines at The Theatre of Solaire Resorts, May 28, 2015.
With the price tag of P32,990 for the leather back cover variant and P31,990 for the metallic finish model, G4 earned the applause of the attending media, bloggers and dealers as Faith Mijares, LG PH Product Manager presents the features of the flagship smartphone.
I already had my quick date with the LG G4, you can read Unboxing and Initial Impressions here.
For your appreciations, I have gathered few quick impressions about the LG G4 by the tech bloggers in Manila.
1. An F1.8 aperture lens, better OIS, an ambient light sensor, & manual mode. That’s 4 fantastic camera features. This is the LG G4 — Irwin Rivera, SwrilingOverCoffee.com. Check out, Rivera’s initial impressions about the LG G4 in this post.
2. The LG G4 is majestic! Its design isn’t exactly a complete deviation from last year’s iteration, but the new G4 is absolutely stunning. Its leather-clad rear cover feels and looks great! — Gian Viterbo, GadgetPilinas.net. Find out how G4 has impressed Viterbo in his unboxing post here.
3. It got a slow shutter speed and you also have the option to save the photo in RAW. For you to tweak and edit the photo if you want to adjust more lighting effect. — Azrael Coladilla, Azraelsmerryland.blogspot.com. His report about the LG G4 launch is in this post.
4. The LG G4 really shines in manual mode by allowing pro users to set shutter speeds, producing shots like below — Michael Josh Villanueva, author of www.michaeljosh.com. [https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10155638128265599&set=a.59056185598.138426.620145598&type=1Source]
Here is his sample shot of the LG G4 versus the Samsung Galaxy S6.
5. LGG4’s awesome selfie… Parang jeep… ang daming kasya!!! Ian Bacungan, author of TheRogueWriter.net

There are so many other things to love about the LG G4 — like the ability to shot a photo in raw format, that only DSLR can do at the moment. The curve design that makes it ergonomic to use, it just fit in your ears when you take a call. The leather back casing that makes it look like a very expensive smartphone. The micro-SD slot for additional storage which I’m sure you will need because you will shoot lots of photos with the LG G4. The improved image stabilization on the 16 megapixels camera with F1.8 aperture. And IPS Quantum display give you 50% more contrast, 25% more brightness and 20% color reproduction.
Also, LG has partnered with Google to give owners of LG G4 additional 100G cloud storage via Google Drive. That’s a total of 115G of cloud storage from Google and LG. With this partnership, by using your existing Google account, you can now collaborate with your friends by using Google Docs and store more files in the cloud.

I only see one concern: the battery. Even with the 3,000mAH, I doubt if it will sustain an 8-hour operation. 🙂
damn LG..they really did the right thing in adding those new specs and new camera feature…ang galeng!!!
