First NBA-branded smartphone by Cloudfone unveiled at the BTV All Star Festival

Last weekend, Basketball TV (BTV), co-presented by Cloudfone, hosted BTV’s All-Star Festival at the Bonifacio High Street Activity Center., in celebration of the 2017 NBA

In celebration of the 2017 NBA All-Star Weekend, activities included a free viewing of NBA activities such as the All-Star Rising Stars game and the All-Star Saturday Night 2017 as they happen in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Shoot-out games, skills challenges, 2-ball competition, various in-booth activities from NBA and NBA partners, and the appearance of NBA star, Kevin Martin.

Aside from treating fans to watching games, participating in contests and exhibitions, and meeting and greeting Kevin Martin, several prizes and special discounts were also given away, including NBA merchandise, powerbanks, and accessories, and even Cloudfone smartphone devices.

CloudFone Big Reveal

For several days, Cloudfone, the official mobile partner of the NBA, has released several social media posts teasing fans and the basketball community with what seems to be an NBA phone.

 

 

Last Sunday, February 19, 2017, Cloudfone finally unveiled the Cloudfone NBA Edition smartphone  — a first ever NBA smartphone in the Southeast Asia. And not only that, the reveal was simultaneous from both the Philippines and New Orleans.

Cloudfone Chief Marketing Officer, Joey Oreta and Chief Operating Officer Jaime Alcantara, also officially unveiled the device to fans at the BTV All-Star Festival in BGC.

We’ll have to wait until April for the official pricing and roll out. This is because, according to CloudFone, NBA is quite stiff in their branding. Pricing will be revealed by April.
