At the 17th International ICT Awards – Philippines (IICTAP), held at the Marriott Manila Hotel, Teleperformance (TP) Philippines, a digital business solutions provider and CX management leader that has won many awards, was added to the Hall of Fame list.
The “leading and most prestigious ICT awards in the Philippines,” organized by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (CanCham), honored TP and other sterling companies in the field of information and communications technology in the Philippines.
Francisco “Sisco” Lara is the Chief Executive Officer and Country Head of Teleperformance Philippines. He said, “It is amazing to think that just a few months before this award by IICTAP, Teleperformance also got a spot in the Philippines Best Workplaces, which was also a big deal because it was put together by the same people who put together the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For. With this award and the recent ones we won from other groups, TP has strengthened its position as the leader in the industry.
Before it got the top Hall of Fame award, the IICTAP gave Teleperformance the “BPO Employer of the Year” award in 2011. Chief People Officer Jeffrey Johnson also discussed the company’s recent win. He thanked the Teleperformance Philippines family and pointed out that the company now has a new challenge to do even better things in the industry.
“This victory wouldn’t be possible without the collective efforts of our people across all our sites in the country. With the company’s drive to expand in more cities and key areas supported by a stellar year-on-year growth, we are confident that we will continue to meet—and exceed—our exemplary record and achieve more in the coming years, Jeffrey stated.”
This year marks the 26th year that Teleperformance has been in the Philippines. The company is proud to be one of the top employers in the country. It gives more than 50,000 Filipinos rewarding, meaningful jobs at 23 Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao business sites.
Since 2018, the Philippines’ first business, the largest employer, and the first BPO company to be certified as a Great Place to Work (GPTW) are Teleperformance. This year, TP Philippines is going for its sixth GPTW® certification. Over 50,000 employees from 23 sites in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao participated in an independent survey.
At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, TP rolled out Cloud Campus, a state-of-the-art remote work and management solution that kept its employees’ jobs safe and ensured its clients and business could keep running. Now, the company has two Cloud Campus hubs. One is in the province of Ilocos Norte in the northern Philippines, and the other is in General Santos in the southern Philippines.
