CONVERGYS, one of the largest call center in the Philippines will hire additional 3,600 new employees and expands to new sites!
Convergys is the largest private employer in the Philippines, announced that it has added additional capacity to five of its existing facilities in the Philippines and will need over 3,600 new employees. Philippines Country Manager and Managing Director, AsiaPac/EMEA Marife Zamora made the announcement during a press briefing in Manila.
Since its initial opening in the Philippines in 2003, Convergys has established twelve contact centers – seven located throughout Metro Manila, three in Cebu City, one in Bacolod City, and one in Santa Rosa, Laguna. And today, it has additional new facilities – UP TechnoHub, Nuvali, San Lazaro, Cebu i3, and Bacolod.
With this new development, the company will need additional hardware – from desktop, to network equipment and licences. The expansion will need about 2,300 additional workstations.
