Digitalspidey made a little teaser of the all-new Ford Explorer in this post on October 3, 2011. And last night was the big night for the Ford PH team and everybody were excited to see, smell and touch the new SUV by Ford. It is really an “all-new” monster!

Check this previous model of this SUV; and look at the picture of the new model. All new design, all new technology, greener, smarter and… awesome!

But let me show you first few slides of the presentation, this will introduce you to the new features added to the new model.

Anika Salceda-Wycoco, the AVP for Communcations took the center stage to open the program and introducing Ford PH President Randy Kreiger.

Mr. Kreiger briefly thanked the local media and all attendees for joining Ford in the launch. And then he presented the new SUV – the all-new Ford Explorer.

Sure it sounds expensive for a regular office boy at PHP2.3M or P2,350,000.00 to be exact which will be available at all Ford dealers the SUV is really awesome! I would want Santa Claus to deliver one unit of this to me by Christmas Eve!
But any car enthusiast will drop jaw for this expensive-looking SUV of Ford. All leather seats; high tech dashboard; key-less system; Bluetooth enabled and touchscreen audio system powered by Microsoft; and the guys at Ford says this new model is 20% fuel efficient than the previous one. A rear-view camera is already built-in, tire pressure monitoring system and many more. All these new innovation you will experience with the new model.

Check out Ford website for the detailed specs. Just a heads up though, there will only be one variant that will be available for the Philippine market and it will be a Limited Edition.
“This all-new Explorer adds class-leading fuel efficiency to a legendary portfolio of capability, performance and customer convenience,” said Randy Krieger, Ford Philippines President.
There are a lot more new buttons; technology and features in the new Ford Explorer, Digitalspidey has more photos right here.
The key duplicator in our corner will have less business in the new development of key-less system of modern cars.

Can’t wait to test drive the 2012 All-new Ford Exlporer! Watch out for that, hopefully we will be able to review it.
