Job Description
The Channel Manager will be supporting the Country Manager to drive sales in the Philippines.
Key Qualifications
- Good understanding of electronic retail business in Philippines.
- Experience in managing Tier-2 channel sales via distributors.
- 5 years sales experience in the retail/electronic/appliance/consumer electronic environment.
- Retail merchandising and store build experience.
- Project management skills.
- Adept at training.
- Performs sales, services, and administrative tasks without supervision.
- Strong track record of executing marketing activities with business partners.
- Strong ability to work with customers/partners in all levels.
- Storefront sales experience with good knowledge of retail customer behaviors.
- Tertiary education background preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in an environment of ambiguity.
- Positive attitude and willing to go the extra mile.
- Willing to unlearn and learn new ways of doing business.
If you pass the required qualifications you have to handle the following task:
• Manage the weekly sell through of reseller storefront business. Resellers include Distributors and their respective Tier-2 resellers.
• Working closely with Tier-2 reseller store managers on demand generation activities via the distributors.
• Drive the Tier-2 virtual teams on a week on week basis in terms of business weekly forecasting, demand generation, and Training.
• Manage the presentation of retail storefront.
• Partner with the regional training team to ensure Tier-2 retailers are well trained.
• Optimize the sales opportunities in every store.
• Work with distributors on targeted store builds & store expansion of Tier-2 partners.
• Conceptualize and execute POS productivity programs within the Apple guideline
