Cognizant is one of the fastest growing Consulting, IT and Business and Knowledge Process Outsourcing companies globally with over $ 3.3 billion in revenues for 2009. By the end of March 2010, Cognizant had over 85,500 employees globally. In the last four quarters alone, notwithstanding the challenging global economic scenario, Cognizant added over 21,800 employees to its global headcount.
Last August 4, they met with the Press and bloggers in the Philippines to officially announce its expansion of their Manila Delivery Center. This new BPO player is now located at One World Square Building, Unit A,Mckinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, Philippines.
Its President R Chandrasekaran was there to personally announce its expansion. Their Manila Delivery system is headed by a Filipino – Mr. Randolph Urgino, the company’s General Manager.

Cognizant has 600 seats and is expected to expand more in the near future. Its network and hardware are composed of Cisco and Dell PCs according to Mr. Sreejit Chandran, the country manager for the Philippines.
