On doing gadget reviews

Review: Check!

Just finished my first gadget review. It was not easy, it was tough.

But the experience is worth the try, specially when you have willing friends to help you along the way of putting up your article.  It was not easy for me because primarily I have the tendency to make my sales pitch, and more importantly I have a very poor writing skills.  Writing was not my cup of tea, it was never my favorite subject back in school.

But then again, as our  mentor would always remind us – practice makes perfect. The struggle brought me back four months ago, it took me so long to start my blog because I’ve been asking my friends what would I blog about? I don’t write at all, and I have no interest in writing.

Going  back to the first gadget that I reviewed –  the HTC Legend, one of the latest Smartphone powered by Android. It took me at least five days to finish my review. I had to Google about reviews, study its format, the way the every paragraph is presented and the likes.

But prior to releasing my review, we have been having weekly brainstorming, coaching and mentoring session with our senior ProBlogger Abe Olandres, and our chief editor for PTB Calvin Lo.  So even if it was tough, with the help of experienced bloggers I was able to finish it, and approved for publishing! Hehe!

So in the coming days, Reviews of gadgets will be part of this blog although most of the Tech Reviews will be posted at PTB.
