Dual-SIM, Nokia X look alike, Windows Phone 8.1 OS and bearing an SRP of P7,999 – that’s the latest Lumia from Nokia (Microsoft), the Lumia 630. It comes with four colors – green, orange, white yellow and white.

Notable in the launch of Lumia 630 is the team of Microsoft Philippines; Nokia PH did not clarify up when they would carry the “Nokia” branding.
Hard shell with a matt finish and a little bit bigger than the Nokia X, Lumia 630 in the Philippines will feature local app – AirAsia, GCash by Globe, and GrabTaxi. Reps of these companies where also present to support Lumia 630 and Windows OS which according to Nokia PH chief is even bigger and iOS in terms of usage. Nokia also mentioned that Lumia 520 was the best seller among the Lumia line.
Dual-SIM, quad-core Snapdragon, Gorilla Glass 3
Lumia 630 features seamless switching between two SIM cards that will surely help users to manage their fave telco SIMs; a quad-core Snapdragon 400 1.2GHz is powering the Lumia 630. Lumia 630 is also protected by Gorilla Glass 3. This is also the first dual-SIM out of the Lumia family.

Lumia 630 side by side with Nokia X. It has the same matt finish shell but the Lumia 630 has curves versus the squarish Nokia X.


Nokia PH Chief Karel Holub with PH’s reps of Grab Taxi, Air Asia, Globe’s GCASH. The local apps which are available in Android has put their trust to Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 by embedding their apps on the Lumia 630.

Availability and Pricing
Nokia Lumia 630 will be available in stores by the end of May 2014. SRP is P7,999.
Nokia Lumia 635 LTE will go exclusively to Globe. This was confirmed by Nokia PH GM Karel Holub during the launch of Lumia 630.
