Nokia Lumia 710 launched last night by Smart

Smart Communications threw away a huge party at the Republiq Club in Resorts World Manila last night as they launch officially one of family member of Lumia – the Nokia Lumia 710. Nokia is definitely coming back in the ball game, and the Lumia family reminds me of its first Nokia phones back in the 90’s. I have to confess that my first phone was the Nokia 5110 which after I bought after a week Nokia 3210 came out!

Lumia 710 is powered by Microsoft Windows 7.5 OS aka Mango will be available exclusive from Smart. Lumia 710 will be included in the Smart Special Limited Edition Plan 1000 for an affordable amortization price of P450 a month for 24 months.

Lumia 710 specs can be found here in this post. The Limited Ed. Plan 1000 of Smart on the other hand comes with 500 SMS to all networks, 500 minutes of voice calls to Smart and TNT and 1G of mobile data. This plan is only available until May this year.

The press launch were hosted by KC Montero and Rhian Ramos and they gave away 10 units of Lumia 710 to lucky media attendees.

The party started immediately after the press conference and it was attended by celebrities, Nokia bloggers and followers. I went home and did not join the party though but we were able to see the complete Lumia family.
