The Internet of Things Conference 2023, a collaborative effort of Packetworx Inc, event and community partners, and the Department of Information Communications Technology (DICT), was launched on June 26th to ignite a national conversation about the importance of promoting, adopting, and developing IoT technology across the Philippines. DICT Undersecretary Jocelle Batapa-Sigue delivered the keynote address for ICT Industry and Development who shared her expertise and insights on the role of IoT in shaping the Philippines’ future.

The three-day conference featured an extensive program covering many IoT topics. The first day focused on Smart Cities and Agriculture, looking at how IoT can improve urban living and revolutionize agricultural practices—the second day focused on IoT for Utilities and Enterprises, revealing the transformative potential of IoT in industries such as energy, water management, and business. Day 3 focused on Data Analytics, Blockchain, and IoT Technologies, examining the intersection of these cutting-edge technologies and their collective impact on industries and society.
