Aside from Messenger and Pages Manager, Facebook recently launches Facebook Groups app. Available both on Google Play and Apple App store, Facebook Group app handles all groups you joined. It creates separate notifications but requires the basic app which is Facebook.
I like it that Facebook is creating focused app like Messenger, Pages Manager and now Facebook Groups. Facebook Groups lets you focus on groups you joined without having to see the unwanted posts, shout outs, photos in your feeds.
I have a friend who don’t even check his timeline, he only visit the groups he joined. I am sure he is one of the happy person after Facebook Groups were made available via Google Play and Apple App store.
Creating a group now is easier, the app has a template of groups which you can choose from. You can also arrange the groups according to your own mix.
You can also pin your favorite groups in your home screen. By doing this, you don’t have to open the app and search through the groups, you can directly go from the home screen icon.
What I don’t like is that the search function is not available in the app. I am sure they will make it possible in the next update.
