Lenovo has just released its toughest, lightest and thinnest ultrabook ever in commemoration to their Thinkpads 20th year in the industry the longest so far by a laptop manufacturer at a press release last May 17, 2012 at Chocolate Fire, Makati City.
With the title “Teardown the Thinkpad” they have literally teared it down into pieces and assembled it back and aside from that they even got their laptop wet just for us to see how durable their new Thinkpad is. The ultrabook boasts of Gorilla glass for sturdier screen, spill resistant keyboard, their new roll cage technology which prevents the internal components from impact, and a carbon fibre cover for more durability and to think it’s the thinnest so far at 16.5mm. What more could anyone ask for from the lightest heavyweight.
The event was attended by their hands on managers Vicky Agorilla and Christopher Syling of Lenovo and Intel Philippines respectively and the place was so jampacked that there were some left standing. The forum consists of powerpoint presentations, video clips, question and answer and the most exciting part the demo which is divided into parts, from how people hold their laptop, common accidents and getting it wet and their new laptop got it all covered.
