Apple intros iPad Air and iPad Mini Retina

Aside from the OSX 10 Mavericks that comes free just like the Windows 8.1 upgrade, Apple announced two new iPads. The regular-sized 9.7-inch iPad will now be called iPad Air and the little brother will get the Retina display, and will be called iPad Mini Retina.

Apple iPad Air will retail at USD499.

The little brother iPad Mini Retina will retail at USD 399, the older model will get a price rollback and now can be ordered for only USD299.

The iPad Air will have the new A7 chip, 5-megapixel iSight camera and a claimed 10-hour battery life. iPad Air will ve available in white and space gray, the higher end model WiFi + LTE will retail at USD629.

The iPad Mini Retina will get a 2048 x 1536 screen resolution. New A7 chip too and price will start at USD399, the LTE model will retail at USD529.

The original iPad mini will get price reduction, it will now be priced at USD299. Shipping starts on November 1 in more than 40 countries including China.
