Are you holding the big brother iPad? That must be the iPad 4, earlier today around 1AM, Manila time, Apple launched the fifth 9.7-inch iPad and it is now called iPad Air. The iPad Air is thinner, and has the new A7 chip that powers it. The looks did not change as usual. And there are only few specs that were changed. Take a look at the table of comparison below.
The iPad Air will start shipping in November 1 in more than 40 countries including China. Take note that the price of the iPad 4 and iPad Air are all the same. Apple tricked us when they display a lower priced iPad of USD399, but that’s the iPad 2.
Getting the iPad Air for the same price as the iPad 4 give you an upgrade of the processor, a slightly lighter tablet and a new choice of colors.
