Retina on iPad Mini, we expected this already right? What we did not expect is the new iPad Mini with Retina becomes slightly heavier at 331 grams versus the previous one that is only 308 grams. So it is proper to describe the Mini with Retina as “Faster, Crisper and Heavier”
So what new with the Mini with Retina? Well, the change in color, the usual black and white colors is gone, it is now replaced with the “space gray” and silver and white.
The entry level is priced at USD399 while the one with LTE version is at USD529. Apple did not explain why the new iPad Mini with Retina becomes slightly heavier that the old m odel. Now, if the new processor do not impress you and the Retina display, the old iPad mini has a price reduction, it is now officially sold at USD329.
