Landco Pacific Corporation has been building the ideal leisure and luxurious communities and condominiums for two decades. Behind the success of this giant corporation stands a man, Alfred Xerez-Burgos III, a premiere real estate developer and President and CEO of the Corporation, and his Samsung Galaxy Note.
“I’m not really a techie person but I do recognize the fact that these gadgets have tremendously improved the way people go about their day to day activities,” Burgos reveals.
Burgos admits that he has a very hectic schedule that most of the time “we have about 14 to 15 projects on-going at the same time and monitoring the progress of these projects practically takes the whole day.” With the help of Samsung Galaxy Note’s smart organizer, S Planner, Alfred keeps on track regardless how hectic his schedule can be.
“E-mail comprises about 80% of my usage.” Burgos said. The Galaxy Note’s various features such as the HD display screen, pressure sensitive S Pen input technology and the 8-megapixel camera are also frequently used in his work. “When I see something wrong or have some concerns on a project during a site inspection, like landscaping, for instance, I would take a picture, scribble in my notes with the S Pen, and e-mail it to the people concerned so it can be addressed right away,” Burgos declares. He also revealed that he also gets to enjoy the Galaxy Note’s apps during his free time like Facebook, magazine subscriptions, and others.
“It is so cramped in Metro Manila and everyone is yearning for his own space,” Burgos observes. “So in our newest condominium project, we built a series of buildings around a large open space so its residents don’t have to go far to commune with nature, bond with their families, and do lots of activities. A respite from stress is not just a want anymore but a need, and this is what we aim to provide to our clients.”
Burgos’s vision for the metro may be a big and ambitious one where he would be behind it all the way but behind this man is the power, the technology that would make these ambitions possible. Behind this dream is a man with his Samsung Galaxy Note.
