The launch today is in connection to the approval of the NTC in December. NTC Memorandum Circular 07-12-2014 was issued to lay down rules and regulations for digital tv broadcast in the country to finally start the transition from analog to digital television.

Cavite, Tarlac, Rizal, Laguna, Nueva Ecija, Benguet, Baguio, Pangasinan, Bulacan, Metro Cebu, and Metro Manila are the first to get the digital signal from TV Plus.
