If you missed the story about BBM coming to other platforms, well its now available for download from your favorite stores!
BBM or BlackBerry Messenger which was exclusively for BBM users before is now available in other OS for smartphones, that means you can now chat with your old time BBM friends from your your Android or IOS smartphones.
The news was first announce five months ago the Blackberry Live in the US. But it took them a little while before the actual roll out. They tried to open this downloads to the public I guess last month, they weren’t successful.

BBM was exclusive and you need to subscribe to a BBM service to a Telco before, but in the release of Blackberry OS 10, the IM was made available even on WiFi connectivity.
The release of BBM to Android and IOS is kind of super late already because Viber, WeChat, KakaoTalk, Skype and other IM were able to position in the market already.
