Braven 440 Bluetooth Portable Speaker Review

We got this little cutie speakers from Braven recently. Its out in stores already, but this one is the most portable perhaps among its siblings. The Braven 440 will fit your pocket’s budget and this will save your day once your smartphone’s battery gets ready to sleep after 4 or five hours of LTE access.

Braven 440 retails P3,650 or about USD82.25 mostly available in malls now. Braven 440 is water resistant, it is enclosed in an IPX5 rated covering. That explains why the cover of the exposed ports are not easy to detach. Owners are not encourage to drown it okay? Its not waterproof, but it will survive accidental water spills.

The package contains the necessary stuff you need  – a 3.5mm cable is an optional cable if you want to play on wires, the charger, and a strap.braven440-digitalspidey

The Braven 440 BT speakers sustained more than 10 hours of playback with its 1,400mAh non-replaceable battery on it. Pairing your bluetooth-enable music player – your laptop, smartphone, or tablet is a walk in the park. Pairing it for the first time requires a long press on the power button, Braven 440 plays a sound which signals you that is now ready to pair. Once paired, it will remember the device and next time you turn on both the Braven 440 and the paired device it will auto-connect.

Charging the Braven 440 is just like your smartphone, it uses a micro-USB port so if you forget the provided charger, your Android smarpthone charger will work without any problem.

Over-all the Braven 440 did not disappoint us, it is a 3-in-1 device that makes it very useful – charger, speakerphone and  and a wireless speaker. I guess the water resistant feature is awesome, but don’t just accidentally drop the speakers, it might break easily. I find the plastic casing not too solid it might easily crack when you bump it or drop it.
