Samsung Electronics is inviting thirty lucky (3) Samsung camera owners and selected professional photographers to embark on an unforgettable visual learning journey in Australia. Through the second instalment of its NX Traveller programme, Discover Australia, participants will be able to explore the stunning and diverse landscapes of Australia to capture the essence of its people, places and produce through the Samsung lens.
30 lucky winners from the region including Australia, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and Indonesia will have the opportunity to participate in this pictorial journey.
There will be three local winners will be given the chance to join Tourism Australia and Samsung’s photography experts on one of two visually-stunning, all-expenses paid itineraries for five days from 24 – 30 June 2014.
“This is an extraordinary opportunity for photography enthusiasts to discover and capture the essence of Australia’s sights and landscapes through Samsung’s superior NX cameras and lenses,” said Candy Delos Santos, Product Manager for Digital Imaging of Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation. “With this second edition of our NX Traveller programme, we are excited to continue to bring together Southeast Asia’s most promising photographers and Samsung camera lovers with local experts from Down Under. Together, they can exchange and share knowledge and ideas while capturing the sprawling beauty of Australian cities and beyond.”
A Samsung NX30 camera will be provided during the journey for them to experience first-hand the camera’s professional features. NX 30 has a 20.3MP APS-C CMOS sensor that promises to shoot in low lit situations. It has the next generation hybrid autofocus system that provides accurate focusing, a 1/8000 second real fast shutter speed for the fast-moving subjects to capture with little to no blur. With NX 30 transferring image from your camera to your laptop or mobile device is possible wit the embedded with NFC and WiFi capabilities.
To qualify in this contest, you must be a Filipino resident and above 18 year old, you must own a Samsung camera. This is also open for the PRO or experienced photographers with existing portfolios but do not necessarily own Samsung cameras. Interested participants simply have to register online. Samsung camera owners, your entry will be be chosen via raffle. For experienced photographers, simply submit a link to your online portfolio for us to judge and review.
