Gigabyte joins Ultrabook race

Gigabyte recently introduced its own Ultrabook, the Gigabyte U2442V is a 14-inch Ultrabook. You may not be able to categorized this as an Ultrabook since this is not the thinnest around but it still falls under the category with brushed metal lid. It is only 18.5mm thick with a weight of just 1.66kg. The Ultrabook comes with a full set of ports, you name it – LAN, HDMI, and VGA, an SD card reader plus four USB ports (2x 3.0) And you enjoy a backlit keyboard.

Two flavors are coming up with an SRP of  Php55,590  for the Core i5 model and Php63,590  for the Core i7 version.
