Globe Business hosts its first Developers Marathon to show off their next Public Cloud Solutions in partnership with US-based Morphlabs.
Morphlab, Devcon and Globe hosted its first Devathon (Developers Marathon) last February 22 on one of its headquarters located in Valero Makati to reveal to the public what Cloud is all about and how can they benefit from it.

Up for grabs is either a years subscription to Globe Cloud or 100,000 cash. Participants may be an individual or as a team and they will all start from scratch. Time frame is from 6pm of February 22 till 12:00 noon of February 23. Once finished they will then deploy a copy to the new Globe Public Cloud platform and they will have 7 minutes to present their entry and 5 minutes for Q and A. An individual or team can submit a maximum of 2 entries during the challenge.
Cloud is usually intended for app developers, entrepreneurs, solution providers, and system integrators for small and medium business. “ Companies no longer need to purchase expensive software and equipment with limited capabilities” said Francisco Fernando Claravall, Globe Business Head of Business Products and Services.
The next could solutions by Globe promises to be par with Amazon services but is affordable according to Globe.
