Oppo is now gearing up to release another ‘selfie’-centric smartphone in the following days.

The mid-range Oppo A57 which was announced last November 2016 is now making its way to our country. It is one of the few handsets to have a ‘bokeh’ as a selfie feature that will automatically blur the surroundings in an image. The 16-megapixel front shooter has been improved with the company’s signature palm shutter function that is only available when taking selfies.

It runs on Android v6.0 “Marshmallow” with Color OS 3.0 on top. The uni-body design of the phone gives its premium look and weighs only 147 grams only. In addition, the fingerprint sensor is embedded on the home button.

Other specs includes: a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor; 32GB internal storage; 3GB RAM; a 13MP back camera with phase detection auto-focus that allows cameras to focus more quickly; and USB-OTG capable.
