Honor’s newest foldable flagship, the Honor Magic V5, has finally arrived for its first overseas launch in Singapore. Priced at S$2,199 (around PHP 92,000) for the 512GB variant, it marks a noticeable increase from previous generations.
Honor Magic V5 Singapore Pricing
In China, the Honor Magic V5 starts at CNY 8,999 (~S$1,599) for the 12GB + 256GB version, with higher configurations at:
- CNY 9,999 (~S$1,777) for 16GB + 512GB
- CNY 10,999 (~S$1,955) for 16GB + 1TB
However, Singapore only gets the 512GB model for S$2,199, which is S$200 more than the Honor Magic V3 and V2 (both launched at S$1,999 for the 512GB model).

The Honor Magic V5 continues the brand’s reputation for ultra-slim foldables. Its highlights include:

Honor’s battery layers measure just 0.18mm each, as thin as a human hair, enabling its slim form factor. Notably, Singapore units carry a 5,820mAh battery, slightly smaller than China’s 6,100mAh variant.
Aerospace-Grade Build
The back cover features Honor’s “golden soft silk armour”, made from a 0.014mm special fibre similar to that used in astronaut suits, boasting 40 times greater impact resistance compared to previous foldables.
Durable Hinge and Display Protection
Its Super Steel Hinge uses AI precision manufacturing with 0.03mm accuracy across 500 feature points. The cover display is protected by enhanced glass with 10x drop resistance, 3x wear resistance, and anti-bacterial coating.
