Honor re-enters PH Market with Google-powered Smartphones and Smartwatches

We may know HONOR as a sub-brand of Huawei, but the brand is now developing its own smartphones. Unlike those of Huawei, these devices feature Google’s suite of pre-installed apps and services.

On September 27, 2022, global technology brand HONOR introduced the HONOR Magic4 Pro, which features a powerful Quad-Camera system and the world’s first Ultra Fusion Photography innovation, vastly improving photography and video capture experiences.

Alongside the flagship device, Honor Philippines also launched mid-range devices X7, X8, and X9.

Honor is not only in the business of smartphones but they want a piece of the pie in the wearables. During the grand launch, they also introduced HONOR Watch GS3 and Band 6.

The SuperCharge function is exclusive to the X series. For All-Day Connectivity and Productivity, the HONOR X7 and X8 offer a 5000mAh High-Capacity Battery with 22.5W HONOR SuperCharge. Meanwhile, the HONOR X9 has a 4600 mAh battery with 66W Supercharge that can charge it to 50% capacity in 15 minutes.

All of the X series phones have a large screen that provides a better display, especially the HONOR X9, which has a refresh rate of 90hz and a screen-to-body ratio of 94%. Meanwhile, the X8 features a huge 93.6% screen display, while the X7 has 90.07%. Users benefit from larger screens because they provide a better viewing experience. The 90Hz refresh rate improves display quality by allowing users to enjoy fluid, realistic graphics on the screen without stuttering, as well as a seamless scrolling experience.

Honor Wearables

In addition to smartphones, HONOR has introduced wearables for fitness enthusiasts and newcomers alike. The Watch GS3 is the first in the range, having a glass front and a stainless steel frame. This fashionable smartwatch has heart rate, SpO2, sleep, and stress trackers, as well as over 100 fitness modes and GPS. It also claims a 14-day battery life under normal usage conditions.

The HONOR Band 6 is a smaller fitness tracker with a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen, blood oxygen, heart rate, and sleep monitor, 95 training programs, and on-screen alerts. It has a 14-day battery life, just like the GS3.

The HONOR Band 6 retails for P1,990, while the Watch GS3 costs P11,990.
