After several leaks, the successor of the 2016 flagship HTC 10 has been officially announced. It will be the sibling of the recently U Ultra and U Play.

According to the Taiwanese company, it comes with Edge Sense and is the new feature that allows you to squeeze the sides of the HTC U to interact with the phone in a variety of ways, like taking photos or open an application that you want to use. It comes with 5.5-inch 3D glass screen for the pure viewing experience. The HTC 11 is officially the first phone that runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, boasts up to 2.45Ghz, that will be released globally. By means of storage, they will release the 64GB / 4GB RAM in the U.S., while the bigger version 128GB / 6GB will be available in Asian markets. In a positive note, our country will get the latter one.
Moreover, the camera of the phone carries a 12MP UltraPixel with 1.4 micron pixel size, dual-LED flash, and 4K video recording. It achieved the highest score at the DxOMark with 90 pts., surpassing the Google Pixel XL, its predecessor (HTC 10 that got 88 pts.), and even the Samsung Galaxy S8.

Specs-wise, the HTC 11 comes with three Al assistants, HTC Sense Companion, Google Assistant, and Amazon’s Alexa. The latter enables you to speak at your phone whenever you want to purchase something in the Amazon’s website. The Google Assistant is there to help you with all kinds of tasks by means of connecting your home appliances, find directions, or your daily tasks based on what you have written in the Google Calendar.
In terms of sound, the HTC U11 equipped four microphones around its body, and they are capable of providing an accurate 360-degree sound recording! Sad to say, the 3.5mm is gone, but despite of this, there will be a USB-to 3.5 mm adapter in the box when you buy the phone.
Lastly, the price is $650 which is good, consider the previous U Ultra that launched at a steep $750 price.
