Kata Digital is all set to launch the next Android device called M1. The next smarpthone falls under phablet category, it has 5.7-incn True HD display and is powered by a MTK 6589 quad core CPU and processing speeds of 1.5GHz.

It has dual-SIM – one is a microSIM and the second slot uses a regular SIM card.

It has the advance specs that you need for productivity – 13MP shooter is more than enough to take really good photos, the “selfie” camera has 5MP. 16G stock storage which be expanded if you still need more via microSD, you can add up to 32G more.

The basic wireless connectivity like Wi-Fi: 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 are also present.

It also runs Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean.

I am excited to test Kata M1 because it has 4000mAh battery, which is one of the basic concern of mobile device users.

It weighs 205g with the battery installed.

You can now pre-order Kata M1, and they run a promo price of P9,999. The promotion is until end of April 2014. On the launch date, the price becomes P11,990.

To pre-order you can head to Kata Stores, or via the Kata PH website – http://www.katadigital.com.ph/

According to Kata Philippines, M1 will be available also in Hong Kong, US, Canada and Indonesia. Locally, it will be available on May 10.
