The Black Mamba himself, the 15-time All-Star player was in the country again today despite the bad weather in Manila. Kobe Bryant was brought in by Lenovo Philippines to Manila in celebration of “Walang Iwanan” day.
The schedule press conference was originally scheduled at 10:30 AM at the Maxims Hotel in Resorts World Manila, but due to the typhoon Labuyo, it was moved to 1:30 PM. The media – the sports, tech, lifestyle including the select bloggers were already there as early as 1 PM. The Black Mamba arrived past 3 PM already, but nobody complained.
Kobe unveiled Lenovo Mobile’s flagship smartphone, the Lenovo K900, the ultra-sleek Intel-powered smartphone with 5.5-inch FHD, 13MP rear camera, Android 4.2 JB. K900 is powered Intel Atom Z2580 dual-core 1.8GHz.
Following the press conference, lucky fans and winners of Lenovo Mobile’s “Walang Iwanan” promos were treated to an inspirational talk by Kobe at an intimate gathering in New Port Performing Arts Theathre in RW Manila.
The press conference was attended by Lenovo’s VP J.D. Howard, who received a limited edition shoe from Kobe.
The Black Mamba then proceeded to SM Mall of Asia to meet his fans.
