The next feature phone by Nokia will be launched in the Philippines on June 27, 2013. Asha 501 has a 3-inch display with 240 x 320 pixels, 3.2MP camera and an aperture of F2.8 and weighs only 98 grams.
Asha 501 will be the first Asha to run the new Asha platform, which according to Nokia will make the experience faster and more responsive. With a battery of 1200mAh that promises a 17hr talk time, internal storage of 4G which is expandable to 32G. It is a dual-SIM (regular SIM) phone.
You basic connectivity features like WiFi, Bluetooth are present, and charging is via micro-USB port. Asha 501 has built-in Facebook and Twitter apps.
We will have to wait until the 27th for the availability and pricing of Asha 501 in the Philippines.
