NVIDIA, the leading manufacturer of GPU or graphics processing units has gathered the Philippine eSports gamer to good lunch today.
Present in todays gathering are mostly gamers and some game developers. The team of Garena were present there as the makers of League of Legends.
The gamers according to Glen Soriano, PH Country Manager of Nvidia are their best reviewers of their products. The gamers are the same people that recommends upgrade to iCafe’s in the Philippines. They recommend what best video card should work in the games they offer.
The gathering today is a treat to the gamers. No selling activities, just a pure bonding and sharing of success stories and perhaps a grand EB for the gamers.
But what most gamers might interest is the Nvidia Titan, this was launched globally in March. According to Soriano, they were hesitant to bring this in to the PH market since it is really costly. One piece of this is about P50k. So they thought it would not sell locally.
However, they received confirmed reports that Pinoy gamers must not be underestimated, a businessman from Cebu bought six pieces of NVIDIA Geforce GTX TITAN for his cafe, and another one even bought one from the US.
Gamers conference happens at least quarterly just to say thank you to gamers for using NVIDIA.
