PLDT and its cellular subsidiary Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) have prepositioned employees and mission-critical equipment in North Luzon as severe tropical storm #FloritaPH continues to build and moves towards the Isabela-Cagayan region.

Libreng Tawag (free calls), Libreng WiFi (free WiFi), and Libreng Charge (free charging) stations from the PLDT group are also on standby, ready to be deployed in regions that may be severely affected by the tropical storm. To ensure the safety of our staff, however, activities will not begin until #FloridaPH has passed.

In the next 18 hours, PAGASA has issued Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 3 for the northern and eastern portions of the Cagayan mainland and the eastern section of Isabela.

In the next 24 hours, the provinces of Cagayan, including Babuyan Islands, Isabela, Quirino, the eastern and central portions of Nueva Vizcaya, Apayao, Abra, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, the northern portion of Benguet, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, and the northern and central portions of Aurora will continue to experience TCWS No. 2.
