Smart launches 11th SWEEP Awards

Shools and students should join SWEEP Awards, specially those schools that offers technology and engineering courses.

SWEEP Awards is giving away prizes up to P250,000 to all bonafide undergraduate students from ALL tertiary schools nationwide may join this competition. The competition is alson open to SWEEP partner schools.



Three steps to join

(1) You have to be A SWEEPX SCHOOL. To do it, simply register at Existing SWEEP school students need not register as SWEEPX school.

For your entry to be valid, you have to pass the following qualifying processes.

You have undergone  a Customer Validation Process, which answers the question “What problem does your concept solve?”

You must have a Project Description about the problem they want to solve and the solution, highlighting brief description, technical specifications, etc. (Write a paragraph with a maximum of 500 words). 11th SWEEP Awards contestants must submit their existing SWEEP Awards entry documents.

Prepare a fully accomplished Javelin Board:, and supporting artifacts like interviews of potential customers.

Have a concept plan to use APIs from any of the following:,, and

Prepare a plan indicating how they can integrate any one of the following APIs into their project: (SMS/MMS API & Operator Billing), (SMS API), and (PinoyHoops API) (Write a paragraph with a maximum of 300 words).

Create a 3-minute video presentation of the initial demo of the prototype application and upload it to Youtbute. Submit the YouTube URL to

There will be five (5) teams will be selected as winners and will receive Php10,000 each.  Their concept or prototype must turned into s Smart product while the team will undergo a half-day mentoring program from Smart Innovation and Product Development.

If your product qualifies and moves to the commercialization stage, each team will receive P40k upon commercialization.
