Smart Launches Prepaid Multi-SIM for Android Users

Smart Communications has just rolled out a new product that makes eSIM technology more accessible to Filipino Android users — the Smart Prepaid Multi-SIM.

A Physical SIM That Unlocks eSIM Power

For only ₱119, the Smart Prepaid Multi-SIM is a physical SIM card that enables compatible Android devices to support eSIM functionality. Through the companion Smart Multi-SIM App (available on Google Play Store), users can load and manage up to five eSIM profiles on a single phone.

This means switching between multiple mobile numbers and data plans no longer requires physically swapping SIM cards. Everything can be managed seamlessly in-app, once the Multi-SIM has been inserted and activated online.

Starter Bundle for New Users

Every Multi-SIM kit includes a 3-day free validity bundle:

  • 5 GB of data per day
  • 100 SMS per day
  • 10 minutes of calls per day

This gives first-time users a solid starter pack to try out the service.

Flexible and Travel-Ready

Aside from Smart Prepaid and TNT numbers, the Multi-SIM also works with international eSIMs, making it a convenient option for frequent travelers. Transferring the Multi-SIM to another device is also possible, and all eSIM profiles move with it automatically. The last active eSIM will even be set as the default number.

FAQs on Smart Multi-SIM

  • Can you use it without the app? Yes, but adding eSIMs requires the Smart Multi-SIM App.
  • Can it be transferred to another device? Yes, along with all stored eSIM profiles.
  • Can it support international eSIMs? Yes, via the app.
  • Where to download the app? On Google Play Store, search for Smart Multi SIM App.
  • Do you need to register your eSIMs? Yes. Smart and TNT eSIMs must be registered via Smart’s portal, while non-Smart eSIMs must follow the provider’s registration process.
