Suzuki Philippines has added a new vehicle to their lineup, this time, a sub-compact sedan they call Ciaz. According to Suzuki, this vehicle is specifically designed for the Asian market.
Ciaz models and colors
The Ciaz comes in three model variants — GL Manual Transmission, GL Automatic Transmission, and the premium GLX. Available colors are Pearl Snow White, Metallic Star Silver, Metallic Mineral Gray, Pearl Super Black and Prime Dignity Brown.
There was a batch of media members who already got their hands on the Suzuki Ciaz last March 9 and 10. They were treated to a 235-km round trip ride giving the Ciaz a complete ride from city, highway driving and mountain pass. The group went to Batangas.
Ciaz, according to Suzuki, is more than a snazzy name for a sleek cub-compact car, they actually define CIAZ as City from A to Z.
Suzuki Ciaz features
Ciaz is packed with best-in-class fuel efficiency and other features coupled with a sporty, elegant exterior and a neat interior.
With the gas prices going up and down, it is best to look into a car that is built to be fuel efficient. The Ciaz impressive performance is the integration of transmission technology used in the Suzuki Ertiga. The Ertiga recorded a 16.02km/L on a city driving and 19.2km/L on a highway drive. You expect the same performance with the Ciaz.
The body of the Ciaz is designed and shaped to allow smoother airflow, which contribute to fuel efficiency. The front and rear bumbper corners, front grills, underbody, and trunk lid-end are the product of meticulous research and development to achieve optimal results.
Ciaz with Android
The multimedia integrated audio unit for the GLX model is an Android touchscreen with Bluetooth and USB connectivity. The Android touchscreen comes pre-loaded with apps such as Youtube, Gmail, Facebook, and the Pinoy driver’s go-to app, Waze.
Audio and hands-free connectivity control switches are also embedded in the streering whell, which allows the driver easy access to various tasks. A keyless push start system and remote (GLS model only) makes the Ciaz hassle-free to drive for the busy urbanites.
