Vivo has just made the X9s and X9s Plus go official, as scheduled. The company is known for implementing dual selfie lens, that’s why they continue to include this feature on their latest devices. Both phones are running the heavily-customized FunTouch OS 3.1, that based on Android v7.1 “Nougat”. The disappointment is here, as there is no microSD slot for expanding the storage of the phone.
The display sports a sleek metallic chassis in its uni-body design that makes the phone look promising and attractive. Fingerprint sensor is located underneath the home button, that is located just below the front screen.
Some of the features in Vivo X9s and Vivo X9s Plus are identical, with differences on the screen size including the measurements and weight, the chipset used and battery capacity.
The front camera offers a dual 20MP and 5MP lens (depth), with the new soft light LED flash. Beautify mode has been improved also.Whereas, the rear camera sports a 16-megapixel sensor with good light transmission for capturing beautiful images, scratch-resistant lens, phase detection auto-focus at just 0.1s and single LED flash.
The efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 (X9s) and Snapdragon 653 (X9s Plus) chipsets will power these handsets for enhancing the speed and multi-tasking performance. It also generates few consumption compared to other smartphones for longer battery life.
Talking about the audio, both the X9s and X9s Plus will sport a Hi-Fi audio chipset for nice hearing experience. The bigger version will be using the custom ES9318 technology which aims for voice debugging perfect convergence that produces clean sound with rich details and has the same ability as found on the professional Hi-Fi player.
Another feature, the Always-On display that allows the user to see the clock when the phone is in idle, missed calls, SMS prompts, and other notifications. For those who want to purchase the phone, Hi-Fi XE680 is FREE as the company bundles the earphone in the retail packages.
The Vivo X9S Plus is already on sale since yesterday, July 8; followed by the X9s on July 20. Both phones remains unclear if they’ll expand to other countries.
