A new generation Smooth smartphone gimbal from Zhiyun is already out. This is the successor to the most popular Zhiyun Smooth 2. The Zhiyun Smooth 3 is a better-looking gimbal with much-improved technology to offer, a lot more features missing in the Smooth 2.
Design & Build
The Zhiyun Smooth-3 now uses the latest fifth generation honeycomb algorithm. The motor torque compared to the previous generation have increased by 40%. The response speed also increased by 35% and the maximum load weight of is now 260g. Meaning you can integrate more accessories to your smartphones like mic and video lights.
The new control panel has high-precision dial wheel to include exposure compensation, ISO, white balance, focus, shutter time and other camera operations right on your fingertips.
The dark red accent to the gimbal adds elegance to the overall looks.
Battery
The Smooth 3 comes with a long-lasting battery with 4,600mAH. On paper, it promises to last 14 hours.
Pricing
Update: We spoke to the National Sales Distributor and they confirmed that the Zhiyun Smooth 3 is now available in PH. The official price that includes one year repair including parts is P17,995.
