Huawei S7 Lite is PLDT's new Telpad – an Android 4.0 ICS tablet and landline device

PLDT made an upgrade to its Telpad – S7 Lite is Huawei 7-inch tablet that runs Android 4.0 ICS, packs a 1.2Ghz Cortex A8 processor with a 16G RAM. S7 Lite is lighter, compact, easy to carry and now with a sleek metal casing. Its battery gives you up to 180 hours of standby time, and a 6-hour of video playback.

Telpad S7 lite if being offered for free on all Telpad plans. Plan 1,849 gives you up to 1.5Mpbs internet speed. So if you are a previous subscriber with myDSL plan of Php 1,299 monthly at 1Mbps, you simply add Php 550 on your monthly fee to avail of the Php 1,849 Plan at 1.5mbps. The Telpad S7 Lite is yours plus an added .5Mbls of DSL speed.

Don’t be confused, the S7 Lite is a tablet and you can use it and bring it anywhere, connect to a Wi-Fi and you use it just like any other tablet. It is only bundled with a landline subscription from PLDT. One exciting feature that is waiting to be unveiled from PLDT is the VOIP feature with the Telpad. Once PLDT activates the VOIP feature, you can now make calls anywhere to your Telpad as long as you have Internet connection.
