The highly anticipated Apple mobile device was launched at the Resorts World Manila. Dubbed as the most amazing iPhone 5 plan, Smart Communications staged the launch into different locations in the Philippines to simultaneously revealed the iPhone 5.
The main event happened at the high end mall in the Philippines. Top 5 subscribers who signed up got their iPhone 5 and was presented with freebies, the first Smart iPhone 5 subscriber went home with a brand new Macbook Air from Smart. The others went home with other premium freebies as well.
Smart staff were wearing black shirt with a slogan “bite into the better network”. Actual iPhone 5 units were distributed, there were numbers of smartphones and iPhone 5 units raffled off to the media and bloggers who covered the event. Special mention to our long time Bicolano blogger friend Joey who went home with the first iPhone 5 raffled off to the media.

While Globe staged a concert with top celebrities like Kris Aquino, Zsazsa Padilla and other hot celebrities in the country, Smart launch were also supported by numbers of local celebrities. The Younghusbands were spotted there, hot couple Troy Montero and Aubrey Miles were also seen there. Rhian Ramos were spotted with her date KC Montero. Neneng B aka Sam Pinto were also spotted while the countdown to the official launch were hosted by the Sam YG, Tony Tony, and Slick Rick while Ramon Bautista is also in the party place to support the launch. Globe is holding a separate press launch today for the Globe iPhone 5.
