AMD Launches Ryzen 7000 Series Desktop Processors in the Philippines


AMD announced the Ryzen 7000 Series Desktop CPU portfolio, which will be driven by the new “Zen 4” architecture, ushering in the next era of high performance for gamers, enthusiasts, and content creators.

The Ryzen 7000 Series CPUs combine superior performance and energy efficiency, with up to 16 cores and 32 threads, and are built on an optimized, high-performance TSMC 5nm production node.

When compared to the previous generation, the AMD Ryzen 7950X processor provides up to 29% more single-core performance2, up to 45% more compute for multimedia makers in POV Ray3, up to 15% quicker gaming performance in select titles4, and up to 27% higher performance-per-watt5.

The new Socket AM5 platform, AMD’s most expansive desktop platform to date, is built for durability, with support through 2025.

The AMD Ryzen 7000 Series outperforms “Zen 3” in terms of IPC by a factor of two, further reinforcing the award-winning “Zen” architecture’s track record of innovation, execution, and delivery. The Ryzen 7000 Series, the world’s first high-performance x86 5nm CPU, ushers in the incredible speed of “Zen 4” architecture, propelling gaming and content creation performance to new heights.

The top-of-the-line AMD Ryzen 9 7950X CPU exceeds the competition in content creation performance in V-Ray Render7 by up to 57%. Meanwhile, across many titles, the 6-core AMD Ryzen 5 7600X processor outperforms the competition’s top gaming chip by an average of 5%4.

The impressive performance enhancements are backed by amazing advances in energy efficiency; the AMD Ryzen 7950X processor is up to 47% more energy efficient than the competition8. In addition to the core, the Ryzen 7000 Series Processors have a new 6nm I/O chip that supports hardware-accelerated video encode/decode9, light-duty graphics tasks, and multi-display compatibility. Ryzen 7000 Series Desktop processors run more efficiently than ever before thanks to a plethora of new power management features adopted from AMD’s ultra-efficient mobile processors.

Ryzen 7000 Series Desktop processors will be available globally beginning September 27 from leading etailers and retailers, with a suggested retail price of $299 USD.
