ASUS Philippines celebrates an incredible milestone last April 15, 2018, by opening its 100th store in the country which is located in the newly opened Ayala Mall Feliz. The brand aims to make its products more accessible for Filipino end-users and its fans in almost all islands of the Philippines.
ASUS Global CEO, Mr. Jerry Shen graced the occasion by opening the store with a celebratory toast with fans, channel and media partners who are present at the event to show their continuous support to ASUS.
“Now our job is to enrich and then to establish a very effective and very wide coverage channel network and touch point with our Filipino end users so they can really enjoy good products and good solutions anywhere in the country. We believe that we really need to go to our customer not let the customer find us. The 100th store is our first step to reach out to our partners as far as Zamboanga, General Santos, Davao, Tuguegarao, Laoag, even South Luzon, we have our point of sales there,” said George Su, ASUS Philippines Country Manager for Systems Group.
Right now we actually expanded more our reach by opening three stores in Lazada and one dedicated eShop for ZenFone so we can ensure that there will be no gap in our business ecosystem, Su concluded.
Right now ASUS has 100 stores you can enjoy its various products from the newly launched intelligent phones – the ZenFone 5 series, ASUS ultra-books, 2-in-1s and Flip series, gaming notebooks, motherboards, monitors, mini PCs, peripherals and all key devices conveniently through hassle-free purchase for both retail stores and online shops. All dedicated stores like ASUS, ZenFone and Republic Of Gamers will be carrying the complete line-up of products and as well as their soon-to-be-launched devices for all product line of the company.
“We started our business in the country and we know that we will grow with the help of our channel partners. We must say that we have experienced a lot of changes in the business ecosystem locally. From just selling motherboards in our early days in the country now we have a full line-up of products that we share to our fans to ensure that they have the best products possible in a very reasonable amount,” shares, Anvey Factora, ASUS Philippines Marketing Manager for Systems Group.
In 2011, ASUS only has six stores in the country and within 2012 to 2015 we managed to build 45 more. The breakthrough year for us is 2016 and 2017 where we doubled the number and reach a total of 83 in December 2017 which means in Q1 2018 alone our team was able to officially open 17 more in just 3 months’ time.
But like what George mentioned, we opened 100 stores in the country with a vision to make our products easily accessible for our fans and all Filipino end-users who want to experience innovative devices fast and within their reach, Factora concludes.
The ASUS 100 stores consists of ZenFone Kiosk Shops (52), ASUS Concept Shops (20), ZenFone Concept Shops (15), ROG Shops (4), ASUS owned online shops (4), ZenFone eLounge (3) and ASUS eLounge Shop (2) which totals to 100 stores full opened and functional to serve fans and Filipino end-users nationwide.
Moreover, ASUS in line with its retail and online store expansion ensures that quality and service remains to be key – thus as of today ASUS has around 62 Authorized Service Partners (ASPs) and planning to expand rapidly targeting 100 ASPs in the succeeding months.
