JBL New Lineup Philippines 2026: 16 Speakers, Earbuds, Soundbars, and Headsets Launched at Sound Amplified

The JBL new lineup Philippines buyers have been waiting for is here: 16 products across portable speakers, PartyBox, home audio, true wireless earbuds, and gaming, all unveiled at JBL’s Sound Amplified event on September 23 at Élan by the Bay in Parañaque City.

This is not a single-product launch. JBL refreshed almost every category it sells in one night. The Pulse 6 leads the portable side, the PartyBox 330 and PartyBox Ultimate 2 handle bigger gatherings, the new JBL Cove system marks JBL’s push into Wi-Fi multi-room audio, two Cinema soundbars target TV watchers, six new earbuds split across the Tune 3 and Wave 3 families, and two Quantum headsets round out gaming.

Portable: JBL Pulse 6

The Pulse 6 is the headliner and the first Pulse refresh since 2022. The big design change is an illuminated handle that becomes part of the 360-degree lightshow, which makes the speaker easier to carry and gives it a lantern look.

Audio gets JBL Legendary Sound plus AI Sound Boost, which analyzes music in real time to push volume without distortion. New party and ambient lighting modes set the mood. Sunset Mode dims the lights gradually for winding down, and Bedside Lamp mode turns on a soft glow with a double tap.

You get up to 12 hours of playtime and IP68 protection. Auracast links it with other compatible JBL speakers, and lighting syncs with select PartyBox units and JBL PartyLight products through the JBL One app. At ₱19,999, it sits close to the Xtreme 5 (₱21,299), so you pay for the lights and lifestyle features rather than raw volume.

Party: PartyBox 330 and PartyBox Ultimate 2

The PartyBox 330 (₱35,999) is the mid-size option. It brings deeper bass, clearer highs, a redesigned lightshow, up to 18 hours of playtime, easier mobility, and karaoke-ready inputs that work with JBL EasySing Mics.

The PartyBox Ultimate 2 (₱99,999) is JBL’s most powerful PartyBox yet. It pushes 1500W, over 36% more than its predecessor, through a system of professional-grade tweeters, mid-range drivers, and woofers. It adds a full-panel lightshow, a touchscreen control top panel, interactive party games, a splash-proof build, and Wi-Fi audio connectivity.

The feature Filipino buyers will care about most is built-in EasySing AI Vocal Removal, which strips vocals from any track and turns it into a karaoke song. In a country where every fiesta ends in videoke, that removes the need for a separate karaoke machine. At nearly ₱100,000, though, this is a speaker for event venues, resorts, and serious party hosts, not the average household.

Home Audio: JBL Cove and Cinema Soundbars

JBL Cove is the most significant new category in the lineup. It is a whole-home Wi-Fi audio system with three speakers:

The Cove P1 was on display at the launch in black and white. It uses AI Sound Boost to keep a constant sound field and sets up in three steps through the JBL One app. Streaming support is broad: Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Google Home, Alexa, Spotify, Roon Ready, Qobuz Connect, Auracast, and Bluetooth. Each Cove works alone, as a stereo pair, or as part of a connected system. The JBL One app lets you play one playlist across the house or different playlists per room. Music Follows Me moves your music to another room with one press of the Moment button, no phone needed. Cove speakers also pair with JBL Bar Series MK2 soundbars, so you can grow a music setup into a home theater.

JBL also showed the Bar 500MK2 (₱39,999) at the event as the step-up option in that ecosystem. It is a 5.1-channel system with 750W max output, a 10-inch wireless subwoofer, Dolby Atmos, DTS Virtual:X, MultiBeam 3.0, and PureVoice 2.0 for dialogue.

For TV on a tighter budget, the Cinema SB510MK2 and Cinema SB550MK2 both have dedicated center channels for clearer dialogue, Dolby Audio, HDMI, and simple setup. The SB510MK2 delivers 200W with a built-in subwoofer. The SB550MK2 (₱16,999) is a 3.1-channel bar that steps up to 360W with a separate wireless subwoofer for extra deep bass.

Both support JBL SurroundPlay, which turns a pair of compatible JBL portable speakers into wireless rear surround channels. At launch, the JBL Flip 7 is the only compatible model. If you already own two Flip 7s, you get true surround without buying rear speakers.

Earbuds: Tune 3 and Wave 3 Series

JBL split six new true wireless earbuds into two families.

The Tune 3 series (Tune Beam 3, Tune Buds 3, Tune Flex 3) is the feature-rich tier: JBL Pure Bass Sound, spatial audio, adaptive noise cancelling, six beamforming mics for calls, and up to 48 hours of total playback. The Beam 3 and Buds 3 use a sealed in-ear fit. The Flex 3 lets you swap between open and sealing ear tips, useful for commuters who need to hear MRT announcements.

The Wave 3 series (Wave Beam 3, Wave Buds 3, Wave Flex 3) is the everyday tier: JBL Deep Bass Sound, up to 40 hours of total playback, and lightweight builds. Gaming: Quantum 120 and Quantum 520
