In a press event yesterday, Asustek, launched several Windows 8 devices, all of them are touch screen enabled.
One of them that became the apple of our eyes is the Taichi, a lovely dual-LCD slim notebook housed in a body of an Ultrabook. It is the first duak-LCD that has been introduced in the Philillines.
It looks gorgeous when your laptop transforms into a tablet when you close the LCD. But take note that while Taichi is designed for Windows 8 with touch screen capabilities, the main screen is not touchscreen. Only the rear LCD is touch enabled.
ASUS premium notebooks has SonicMaster technology with the Bang & Olufsen ICEpower for a really high quality sound of a mobile device, Taichi has also these feature. The camera has a 5-MP autofocus that can record HD video while the front camera can record 720P videos. Battery life of Taichi is 5hrs.
And, since Taichi is a touch-screen enable device, Asus included a stylus. Taichi is powered with Intel Core i7-3517U processor with integrated graphics and 4GB RAM, stock storage is a 256GB SSD. A Dual-band Wi-Fi for your wireless connectivity comes with plus a Bluetooth 4.0.
But, do not be surprised for the SRP of the Taichi. Its a whooping P85,995!
