We had an intimate lunch with Ekotek Gadgets honcho Edric Chua yesterday at the SM Megamall. In his pet project, hobby-turned-business Satchmi, Chua proudly showed Ekoteck Gadgets line up which has been around for a while.
Chua is a young entrepreneur that shoots with his film cameras in Vancouver, enjoying his time with his family, but returned to the country to pursue his dreams and join the technology bandwagon.
The result is Ekotek Gadgets and Satchmi.
The brand has numbers of high-quality products that you will commonly see in gadget stores inside Rustans or Power Mac Centers. From powerbanks, to cables, wall chargers, tablets and smartphones.
First Intel SoFIA-powered smartphone in PH
The company has invested in putting up a specs that will fit the budget of a buying “Pinoy”. Ekophone Rogue 3 has a 4-inch display with 800 x 480 pixels resolution. It has Android 4.4 Kitkat, powered by 1.0 GHz Intel SoFIA Atom X3 dual core processor. It has 512 MB RAM and a built-in storage of 4G. The rear camera has 2MP while the front-facing has VGA. It is a 3G phone.

According to Chua, Rogue 3 will be available in the market by mid-October this year. Ekophone Rogue 3 will be sold in more than 14 kiosks in major malls in the country.
