Why you should buy the ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 (ZB602KL)

ASUS has officially launched the Zenfone Max Pro M1 (ZB602KL) in the Philippines today.

Exclusively available thru Lazada, the Zenfone Max Pro M1, is a gaming-centric smartphone which will be available for pre-order beginning June 8, 2018 and will be available on June 25, 2018.

ASUS Philippines Country Manager, Mr. George Su, also added: “Our companies share the same view, and that is to provide the most incredible experience at value for money. I am very proud to have shared the launch of the ZenFone Max Pro with Lazada Philippines. Together, we will work together push for the success of the ZenFone Max Pro, as we have seen with the Lazada Indonesia and ASUS Indonesia who were able to sell 2,000 units in just 15 seconds.” Su continued, “This is one of the partnerships we look forward to continue nurturing and growing.”

“Lazada is proud to be ASUS’s exclusive partner with the launch of the ZenFone Max Pro in the Philippines. This new Battery King smartphone is a proof of ASUS’s continued commitment to understand our customers’ needs and launch innovative products that best fit to all kinds of interests,” said Raymond Alimurung, Chief Operating Officer of Lazada Philippines. “Our brands will continue to collaborate to ensure we offer the best and latest products for our customers to enjoy.”

Let’s just call the Zenfone Max Pro M1 in this post as M1.

The M1 sports a 5.99-inch Full HD+ (2160 x 1080) Full-View IPS Panel, 83% screen-to-body ratio, and a 2.5D arc glass panel.

It has an 18:9 aspect ratio, no notch, and looks simple.

It is housed on a metal body, with the obvious antenna band at the back, but the “inside” stuff is what will make you want to score this phone.

I think you’ll agree with us when we say that the M1 is one of the best offering made by ASUS in recent years. Not only it is priced competitively, but the accompanying specs are commendable as well.

For one, ASUS has equipped the M1 with an almost stock Android. You’ll get a very clean and light OS on the M1. You will no longer see the marketing stuff that ASUS used to push on its smartphones. No more bloatware my friends!

And since this device is marketed as a gaming device, you’ll be served by a super huge battery of 5,000mAH. ASUS is boasting a 12-hour gaming experience with only a 2.4 hours charging time.

The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 and Adreno 509 GPU.

The specs are really impressive, but it does not stop there. The M1 has two shooters at the back, both can deliver dual bokeh shots. It can also record 4K video at 30fps.

The cameras I am referring to are the 13MP f/2.2 OV16880 sensor + 5MP depth sensor w/ PDAF and LED flash.

The selfie shooter is also equipped with an 8MP f/2.0 with 85.5-degree wide-angle lens and softlight LED flash.

Not yet convinced with the M1?

Wait, there’s more!

The M1 is priced competitively. Armed with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded thru a dedicated microSD slot (256GB max.).

It will retail for only P9,995. You can score it only thru Lazada.

Again, the pre-order starts June 8, 2018.
