The 3-day bazaar were held at the Eastwood Mall Open Park, over 50 merchants coming from retail fashion, baby products, specialty market, and travel industries gathered for a more convenient, safe, and hassle-free shopping experience using Globe Charge, an innovative credit card payment solution which turns mobile phones into a point-of-sale payment card terminal, to provide more payment options to customers.

“We capped off our week-long celebration of our 10th anniversary with our biggest GCASH Bazaar ever. With our partner-merchants using Globe Charge to accept payments, we gave our customers a wonderful shopping experience,” says Xavier Marzan, Chief Operating Officer of G-Xchange (GXI), the operator of GCASH. “With Globe Charge, we are changing the way bazaars do business in the country by helping small and medium enterprises provide more payment options to their customers, thereby growing their customer base and boosting their sales.”

To make the shopping experience easier and more convenient, customers who dropped by the GCash Bazaar were also allowed to pay for their purchases using their Visa, MasterCard debit and credit card. Globe Charge continues to break new grounds by enabling card acceptance on a massive scale by accepting GCash Card payments like PowerPay+ cards. Aside from this, customers may also join the daily raffle where they can win an iPhone 5s, a Samsung Galaxy S5 or an iPad Mini when they visit the different Globe Charge merchants.
