The Ayala-led telco has announced that they have already completed their 3G network providing its customers with high-speed wireless Internet in their mobile devices.
They also promised that the more advanced 4G network with the HSPA+ technology will be completed by the end of the quarter.
“With 100% 3G netowrk, we now have a robust capacity for high-speed mobile data access. Providing our ntwork with full HSPA+ coverage in 90 days will provide an even faster mobile Internet experience. This increases potential for more digital innovation and enhacnes wonderful customer experience,” Globe President and CEU Ernest Cu said, adding that the combined 3G and 4G infrastructure of Globe Telecom will further drive mobile data explosion in the country amdi rising demand for smartphones.
By the end of the year, Globe Telecom will have a total of 6,500 cell sites.
