One of the biggest TV Networks in the country is hiring Social Media talents to manage their online content.GMA News has posted this in their Facebook page and we thought we might as well share this to you.
They are looking for Web Designers, Social Media Producers and Youtube Channel Manager.
Here is how you are going to apply:
- Applications that do not follow the instructions below will not be considered.
- Those applying for the position of Social Media Producer should send their resume, one (1) writing sample in English, and one (1) writing sample in Filipino.
- Those applying for the position of YouTube Channel Manager should send their resume and a link to any YouTube channel or online community they have managed previously.
- Those applying for the position of Web Designer should send their resume and design portfolio.
- Please write the subject of your e-mail as such: APPLICATION OF (YOUR NAME) FOR POSITION OF (THE POSITION TO WHICH YOU ARE APPLYING).

We’re looking for young, internet-savvy storytellers and digital marketers who can produce multimedia content for our social media properties.
Qualifications:
Has excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English and Filipino.
Social media savvy; Understands how to craft social media content that will be shared and spark conversation.
Creative; Can tell a story creatively using graphics, photos, and words.
Experienced in digital marketing, advertising, public relations, online community management, or writing for publications.
Comfortable interacting with people of different backgrounds, giving presentations, and dealing with clients.YOUTUBE CHANNEL MANAGER
We’re looking for someone who can help manage the content of GMA News’ official YouTube channel and strategize ways of developing a larger audience for our online videos.Qualifications:
Has excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English and Filipino.
Is a heavy YouTube user experienced in managing a high-traffic YouTube channel;
Understands what types of videos are in-demand online. Understands how to use social media and search optimization to develop an audience for online videos.
Video editing skills and experience in online community management are a plus.
Capable of deriving insights from data analytics that will guide YouTube strategy development.WEB DESIGNERS
We’re looking for web designers who can help design social media visual content and web user interfaces for GMA News Online.Qualifications
Experienced in designing websites, infographics, and user interfaces.
Capable of recommending ways of using visuals to make complex information more easily understandable to website users and readers.
Familiar with the basic principles of good user interface design.
Skilled in using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
